  - Species sp.

We were on belly boat fishing a northern europe lake while we at dusk we found ourseleves amid a hatch of tiny Caenis. The body length was barely 3 mm.

I collected one that the landed on my belly, unfortunately I did not have my macro set and could not take decent pictures. The lack of microscope did not allow me to ascertain the exact species. It might have been C.macrura. based on the antenne's shape, but hard to say with certainty.

We came back to the base campo late at night and the next morming it was dead (Caenis has a very short life as winged insect)- It failed to completly free from the schuck while turning to imago.
